Update on processes during Coronavirus (Covid-19) Pandemic.

Please be assured your health and safety and that of our colleagues is of the utmost importance.

Although we have been operating throughout lockdown on a delivery basis only we can confirm that all necessary health and safety measures and changes to processes are in place to enable our customers to now visit our premises.

You can therefore hire equipment either by visiting our premises or by arranging a delivery.

Please note as follows:-

• Social distancing of two meters is being enforced at our premises and also on delivery and collection of equipment.

• Payment

To reduce the risk of contamination we would ask that all payments be made by card please.

• Cleaning.

Our priority is to provide a clean and safe service to you.

We clean our equipment before and after hire with anti viral cleaners sourced from specialist chemical companies. Work surfaces are regularly cleaned. Hand sanitiser is available for you.

• Demonstrations.

All demonstrations of equipment will be carried out whilst maintaining two meter social distancing and will be provided outside.

• Instruction manuals.

We would prefer to email these to you rather than provide a paper copy.

• Toilet facilities.

We regret we cannot currently offer toilet facilities to our customers.

Procedure when visiting our premises.

You are very welcome to call in and collect equipment.

If possible we would ask our customers to please phone and book equipment ahead of their visit and to pay over the phone before arriving at the premises to collect.

Please drive in and park in designated parking bays.

One customer is served at a time. If another customer is already being served we would ask you to wait in your vehicle until they have finished. Thank you.

Please observe social distancing with our staff and other customers at all times. Thank you.

Customers are served at the shop entrance. Hand sanitiser is here for your use. We have a Perspex screen and we are using face masks to reduce any risk.

If you have not pre-paid we have contactless card machines for your use.

Because of social distancing we are happy to load equipment for you whilst you wait in your vehicle or alternatively you can load hired equipment yourself. However, we cannot assist you in loading. Please be mindful that if hired equipment cannot be lifted by you, you will need to have the means to lift and load.

Delivery and Collection to and from your home or site.

Our driver will be wearing a face mask and gloves.

Equipment will be left in a secure place whilst maintaining two meter social distancing between the driver and customer at all times.

Equipment will not be taken into the customers home but left as close to the entrance as practicable. Customers will therefore need to consider whether lifting aids are required to move equipment from the agreed delivery point.

Customers should not handle equipment until the handover is complete.

Customer signatures will not be required on delivery and collection. The driver will obtain the name of the person accepting delivery and take a photograph of the equipment on site.
